Wound and Burn Care - 100ml

Direction for Use:

We suggest the following:

1. Spray the wound continuously for 2 to 3 minutes. Gently remove any debris that may be present. Allow the mist to air dry without rubbing it in or wiping it off.
2. Apply dressings as usual if required.

For Cuts, Scrapes, Bites, Rashes and Acne:

1. Gently remove any debris that may be present.
2. Spray the wound with the Wound & Burn Care product 3 to 4 times a day.
3. If you need to cover the wound please use a breathable dressing.

For Nappy Rash:

1. Clean diaper area with warm water (no soap) or wet wipes. Dry thoroughly.
2. Spray affected area with our product and allow to air dry completely (don't wipe or rub).
3. Once the skin is dry apply barrier cream to the skin. Please note that a cream is water soluble so don't use an ointment like petroleum jelly.
4. Repeat every nappy change or at least once every 2 hours.

For Open Wounds:

1. Irrigate the area by spraying our Wound & Burn Care over the affected area for 1 minute.
2. Apply a Wound & Burn Care soaked gauze dressing directly onto the area. If there is a concern that the gauze might stick to the wound cover the area with a single layer of plain paraffin gauze dressing first, then apply the wet gauze.
3. Cover the wet gauze dressing with a crepe bandage or absorbent plaster. Do not use silver-impregnated dressings.
4. Change dressings every day or alternative days.
5. If the area can be left open, spray our product onto the wound or infection every 2-3 hours.

For Leg Ulcers:

1. Irrigate the area by spraying our Wound & Burn Care over the affected area for 1 minute.
2. Apply a Wound & Burn Caresoaked gauze dressing directly onto the area. If there is a concern that the gauze might stick to the wound cover the area with a single layer of plain paraffin gauze dressing first, then apply the wet gauze.
3. Cover the wet gauze dressing with a crepe bandage or absorbent plaster. Do not use silver-impregnated dressings.
4. Cover the crepe bandage with a compression stocking
5. Walk daily if possible, to ensure good blood flow to the lower leg.
6. Change dressings every day or alternative days.
7. If the area can be left open, spray our product onto the wound every 2-3 hours.

For inflamed and infectious skin conditions on the body:

1. Spray the area with Wound & Burn care 4 times a day and allow to dry naturally.

Athlete's foot:

1. Spray Wound & Burn care onto the affected areas after cleaning and drying the feet.
2. Repeat twice a day.

Sore Throat:

1. Spray our Wound & Burn Care directly into the throat every 2 hours until the pain has subsided.

If you swallow the product during this process it will do you no harm.

A dressing is required as long as there is active discharge from the wound (blood, pus, serum etc) – a leaking wound is not sealed and therefore susceptible to infection. Once the discharge has stopped completely you can leave the wound uncovered / undressed and spray as often as required – at least once an hour initially.

NOTE: the product should not be mixed into or with anything else and must be applied to a clean wound as directed above. If you are not sure about your specific injury or the protocol to follow please contact us. 

Discard any unused product 12 months after opening or if expired.
